Thermopine
Thermopine is a thermally modified wood product manufactured from selected carpentry-grade pine in accordance with a controlled heat treatment process at peak temperatures of 180–240°C, without the use of chemical additives.
The thermal modification process reduces the equilibrium moisture content, improves dimensional stability, and enhances biological durability by altering the wood’s cell structure.
For exterior applications, thermally modified pine demonstrates a service life of 30–50 years or more, depending on design, installation, and exposure conditions. Our first projects, completed over 20 years ago, remain in excellent working condition today.
